Main Title Sequence Stranger Things Season One on SYFY
The Main Title Sequence we created uses original footage shot specifically for this sequence. Unlike the original title sequence, we decided on using live footage. The footage has been maximized to depth and to add mystery.

Main Title Breakdown Timing and Credits
This is the main title breakdown of timing and credits. This diagram is consistent with the original Stranger Things title sequence using the time allotted for each name to appear. Grey areas around credits are the fade in/ fade out times for each credit.
Univers Typeface Specimen
When choosing a typeface for the main title sequence, I wanted to have enough space between each letter to provide an ample amount of negative space to increase the element of uncertainty and mystery with just typography.
One Sheet Poster Design
Using parallel lines, and inverting the image of the side of a home, this mirroring creates impact using an easily recognizable shape. Stark contrast with the credits over the "Upside-Down" section creates hierarchy and focal point.
